The Animus Control panel for Assassin’s Creed Origins lands on PC

Assassin’s Creed Origins isn’t exactly the easiest game on the planet but Ubisoft have just rolled out their spanking new Animus Control Panel for the PC version that’s not only free but which lets you tweak a variety of settings under the hood.

Granted, it’s not exactly cheat mode so to speak but you’re able to modify significant parameters in the game without having to install a dodgy cheat or to tinker with the code in the backend.  

All told, you can tweak about seventy or so parameters spread across 11 categories to let you do anything from the usual increases in health, skills, movement speed and the like to more impressive things like manipulating AI to make them fight harder, against each other or dumb them down to something akin to bipedal doorknobs. It’s actually more like a toolbox that lets you play the game the way you want it to.
