Apple announces powerful new iPhone 12 series with Malaysia pricing from RM3,399
Apple has just unveiled their latest iPhone 12 series phones that come in four different sizes, all of which are equipped with 5G connectivity and their ultra powerful A14 Bionic processor. Meet the new iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and the mammoth iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Key to their enhanced performance is their in-house A14 Bionic CPU that’s built on a 5nm process and is quoted to have the fastest CPU and GPU by up to 50% compared to the fastest competing smartphone chips. The A14 Bionic also has a 16-core Neural Engine capable of tackling 11 trillion operations per second.
On top of the aforementioned 5G connectivity, the new iPhone 12 range feature crisper Super Retine XDR displays, beefed up cameras and, interestingly enough, MagSafe casings and wireless chargers for bungle proof charging as you needn’t have to fiddle around to find the sweet spot for it to charge properly.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini have similar rear dual camera systems while the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max both share a larger rear triple camera array, all of which have new computational photography features and enhanced video capture performance.
One thing to note is that the iPhone 12 range will not ship with chargers or EarPods which you will have to buy separately though they still toss in a USB-C to lightning cable to charge your phone.
Here’s how they stack up…
