Massive Asus Partner Summit in Indonesia sees over 550 participants across Asia Pacific

The recently concluded Asus Partner Summit last month saw over 550 premium distributors and business partners from across the Asia Pacific region gathering in Bali, Indonesia to plan the next phase of the brand’s expansion across the region as well as their strategic roadmap with a theme of ‘Innovate to Elevate’.

At the Asus Partner Summit, the brand shared their successes for 2022 and their goals for 2023. Despite a tough market last year that saw the consumer laptop market shrinking by 6% across the Asia Pacific region, Asus grew their market share to a solid 20.7% which represented an 11% gain according to Microsoft while their gaming marque, ROG retained its pole position as the best Gaming Brand in the Asia Pacific region for four years running.

For 2023, Asus plans to grow their Consumer market share to 30% and their Gaming laptop market share to 40% by promoting impactful new technologies such as their quality OLED displays and unique form factors, improving the customer experience from start to finish and working closer with partners to target channel investments.

One particular milestone that Asus was proud to share at the summit was that they were the leading OLED Laptop brand for 2022 globally with a 64% market share and with a 49% share in the APC region.

Another interesting fact shared during the Asus Partner Summit is the growth of Asus’ Commercial Systems division which saw a robust 24% growth rate despite the regional commercial systems market in Asia Pacific shrinking by 5% last year spearheaded by their range of ExpertBook series laptops with a long-term goal to become the world’s 4th largest Commercial Computing brand by end 2027.
