Awesome ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 content creator laptop coming to Malaysia priced at RM11,999
The ASUS Zenbook Series Grand Launch at Midvalley revealed their latest generation of Zenbook series laptops for Malaysia including a new Zenbook variant for professional content creators dubbed the ASUS Zenbook 16X OLED UX7602 that blends the latest hardware including an NVIDIA GPU and an OLED display in the classic slim Zenbook form factor.

Belying its dimensions which measure in at 16.9mm thin on the side, the chassis of the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED has a MIL-STD 810H rating for durability so it should survive modest drops and nicks on account of its CNC_machined aerospace grade aluminium chassis though it’s a bit on the heavy side at 2.4kg.
Of note is that it is also the world’s first 16-inch OLED laptop with an Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) Ultra design which means that the laptop has a specially engineered mechanism that raises the keyboard by a 12° angle to offer superior ventilation and a better typing angle. Another additional perk is that it’s one of the few ASUS laptops with their ASUS Dial control, a physical dial that comes in handy for interacting with selected Adobe suite apps and for controlling system functions like the volume.
The new ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED UX7602 is the most powerful content creator laptop in the Zenbook range and features a 16-inch 4K OLED HDR display that has 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut reproduction, has VESA DIsplayHDR True Black 500-certification and has Pantone validation for exceptional colour accuracy.
The tall 16:10 aspect ratio makes it more ideally suited for paperwork crunching and content creation and it also has Dolby Vision support though it has a modest 60Hz refresh rate which makes it less than ideal for gaming purposes though it’s not an issue seeing its mission profile as a content creator laptop.
The rest of the hardware consists of a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H 2.3GHz processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 mobile GPU, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVME PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The CPU and GPU combined are capable of offering up to 140W TDP without throttling thanks to a revamped IceCool Pro cooling system and the AAS Ultra hinge design that keeps the hardware cool. Keeping it juiced is a 96Whr 6-cell lithium ion battery and the laptop has the usual 1080P HD webcam, stereo speakers with Harman Kardon-certification and Dolby Atmos audio.
