Dell EMC World showcases transformative business solutions
It’s a tough economy and it’s no joke. According to a recent study by Dell, half of the world’s global business leaders from medium sized businesses on up admitted that they had no idea what their respective industries will look like in three years. While there was a consensus that there was a movement towards digital transformation, with emphasis towards a cloud model and expanding their data analytics and software development capabilities, many companies are still held back by legacy issues.
At the recent Dell EMC World convention held in Kuala Lumpur, vendors were able to see a range of solutions and products that are designed to modernise enterprise data centers. “To ensure that they’re not “Uber’d”, “Airbnb’d” or “Tesla’d” in their marketplace, today’s organisations must embark on a digital transformation. To truly realise their digital future, we believe the vast majority of organisations will transform their IT through a hybrid cloud strategy,” said David Goulden, president, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Dell EMC. “The first ‘no regrets’ step is to modernise their data center through the most advanced converged infrastructure, servers, storage, data protection, and cybersecurity technologies to name a few. This week we are launching a wave of new products and solutions designed as the building blocks for this endeavor.”
At Dell EMC World, the organisation also announced the integration of their PowerEdge servers with VxRail Appliances and VxRack System 1000 hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), a new Analytic Insights Module that is robust enough to handle big data analytics and cloud native application development and more.
