Dell XPS 13 with powerful 11th Gen Intel CPUs and Iris Xe graphics are now in Malaysia from RM5,999
Dell Technologies has debuted refreshed versions of their popular XPS 13 laptops in both normal laptop and 2-in-1 convertible form factors that now feature 11th Gen Intel Core processors paired with Iris Xe graphics on their Malaysia website.
The new XPS 13 laptops were announced to arrive in Malaysia sometime this September with an end October release date so they’re on the ball for arrival with your choice of either the standard laptop form factor XPS 13 or the XPS 13 2-in-1 convertible.
Intel’s 11th Gen Core processors offer enhanced performance over its predecessors and Iris Xe graphics are rated to be a significant step forward over the usual Intel UHD graphics and has been quoted to go toe to toe with the likes of an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 card in official literature.
This means that the new XPS 13 laptops with Intel’s Tiger Lake processors are even more capable of content creation than ever before and even a measure of light gaming too. We managed to get our hands on an Asus ZenBook 14 UX425EA with Tiger Lake CPUs and the benchmarks were certainly impressive which bodes well for what the refreshed XPS 13 is capable of.
You can now buy the new XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 at their Malaysia site right now with multiple configurations to choose from ranging in price from RM5,999 for the lowest configuration of the XPS 13 2-in-1 or the sleek laptop form factor that has prices ranging from RM6,398 all the way to a princely RM8,199.

As par for the course, Dell is offering a variety of configurations with your choice of 3 different processors – an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7, an i7-1165G7 or the top of the line i7-1185G7 processor, either 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM, either a 512GB or 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe graphics for all variants and your choice of either a 13.4-inch 1080 60Hz non-touch display or a 13.4-inch UHD touch capable display. If you’re well heeled, you can also chunk out RM500 extra for the Machined Aluminium Frost finish should you find the stock Aluminium in Platinum silver not to taste.
In terms of design and aesthetics, they’re similar to the Dell XPS 9300 that we first saw at CES 2020 in Vegas earlier this year and which we reviewed. You get an InfinityEdge display with wonderfully thin bezels on every edge that stretches out the display to 13.4-inches, an edge-to-edge compact keyboard, a large touch display and a chassis hewn of carbon fiber and metal for superior durability as well as beautiful aesthetics that are now beefed up with Intel’s latest hardware.
The XPS 13 laptops are also EVO certified which means they measure up to rigorous criteria from Intel like an instant wake-up time of 1 second; at least 9 or more hours of real-world battery life on laptops; and a 30-minute charge ensuring 4 hours of usage for systems with Full HD displays.
It’s one of the best designed ultraportables in its class and combined with the new Tiger Lake CPUs, this may yet be one of the most powerful and good looking ultraportables that you can buy.
The XPS 13 2-in-1 integrates all these qualities and adds in a 360-degree hinge with touchscreens. For an XPS 13 2-in-1, you get your choice of either a 13.4-inch FHD+ or UHD+ touchscreen, either an Intel Core i5-1135G6 or 1165G7 CPU, either 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM, either a 256GB or 512GB SSD and Iris Xe Graphics.
