Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PS4 and PS5 arriving this 20 August for RM299

One of the most stylistically breathtaking, groundbreaking games ever seen on the PlayStation is getting a Director’s Cut. The seminal Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is coming for the PS4 and PS5 this coming 20th August 2021.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will feature the original game, all prior DLC and adds in a new chapter to the game set on Iki island where the eponymous Jin travels to in order to investigate rumours of a Mongol presence. There will also be new trophies to unlock in tandem with the new Iki content.

Gamers who play Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on the PS5 will enjoy lip sync for the Japanese voiceovers in the game and the Iki island expansion will feature haptic feedback and adaptive triggers along with beefed up 3D audio, improved load times and 4K resolution options. New players will get to head to Iki island in the beginning of Act 2

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Price

In terms of pricing, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be available for RM299 on the PS5 and RM249 on the PS4. Preorders at participating retailers get a mini digital soundtrack, two new tracks from Iki island and a new digital art book along with 10 pieces of Iki Island concept art. Preorders get immediate access to the PS4 version ahead of time with the ability to transfer progress to the Director’s Cut when it launches.

For those who already own the game, you can get the upgrade at a cheaper cost with the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PS4 upgrade to the PS5 version costing a mere RM50 while a direct upgrade from the original PS4 version costs just RM129. This Director’s cut should dovetail nicely with the upcoming movie adaptation.
