HONOR 70 phone, MagicBook 14 laptop and Pad 8 tablet coming to Malaysia

On top of their newly announced HONOR 70 camphone, HONOR Malaysia is bringing in an assortment of new tech across the range this coming 18th August 2020 with a livestream event at 8.00PM Malaysia time that include the new HONOR MagicBook 14 laptop and the new HONOR Pad 8 tablet.

HONOR 70, HONOR MagicBook 14 and HONOR Pad 8 details

The HONOR MagicBook 14 is a 14-inch laptop and while official details are scarce thus far, the official literature states that the MagicBook 14 will have 12th Gen Intel core processors and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU which would make it one of the first examples in the country to pack one. The laptop is also stated to have a 75Wh battery that’s rated for 15 hours of video playback.

The HONOR Pad 8 features an 8-inch 2K FullView touchscreen and full Google support though official specifications are scarce as to what the Malaysia units pack, official literature states that it will have a Snapdragon 680 4G CPU, up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage with a rear 5MP camera and a front-facing 5MP camera with a 7,250mAH battery that has 22.5W fast charging.

The HONOR 70 is a camera-oriented phone with a 6.67-inch OLED 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 778G+ processor, a rear triple camera array with a 54MP main camera, a 50MP ultra wide angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor with the front featuring a  32MP selfie camera. Keeping things powered is a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
