Honor MagicOS 10 to get phased deployment in Malaysia from January 2026 onwards

Honor’s commitment to supporting their line-up of phones in Malaysia is commendable with the brand announcing that they will be rolling out their upcoming MagicOS 10 OS to a wider range of phones across the range in Malaysia.

Honor MagicOS 10 features

At present, the Honor Magic8 Pro is the first phone to feature MagicOS 10 but Honor is committed to expanding it to other models in stages throughout 2026 though a specific list of phones that will get the update was unavailable at the time of writing.

MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16, notably features transparent elements in its user interface design, features lower power consumption and has the interesting ability to keep games active and connected even when the screen is off.

Other notable features with MagicOS 10 include an AI photography assistant that suggests styles and poses to make every shot their best. Other additional features include OneTap that ensures fast, easy and seamless file transfers between Honor smartphones and iPhones. 

The marquee feature with MagicOS 10 though is its ability to detect AI Deepfake video calls and also AI generated voices too which helps to tackle the tidal wave of scam callers besieging our phones these days.
