
Honor Pad V9 tablet, MagicBook X14 2025, Watch 5 and more launched in Malaysia
Honor Malaysia has launched not one but five new devices in Malaysia to expand their ecosystem as part of their Honor Alpha Plan announced at Mobile World Congress 2025 earlier this year.
The new line-up consists of the Honor MagicBook X14 2025 laptop, the Honor Pad X9a tablet and the Honor Pad V9, the Honor Watch 5 with green strap and Honor Earbuds Open wireless earbuds. Here’s how they stack up on paper, their launch windows in Malaysia and how much they cost…
Honor Pad X9a specs and price

The Honor Pad X9a tablet is intended for content consumption and has an 11.5-inch 2.5K display with a dynamic dimming screen, Circadian Night display tech and TUV Rheinland certification for Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free viewing for more comfortable extended viewing experiences. Flanking the display are a quartet of speakers certified for Hi-Res Audio.
The tablet runs on a Snapdragon 685 chipset running Android 15 and Honor Magic OS 9.0,, has 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage and has an 8.300mAh battery rated for up to 11.7 hours of non-stop movie streaming. The tablet also comes with a free Bluetooth keyboard and stylus. In Malaysia, you can get the WiFi only version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for RM999 as well as the LTE-enabled version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for RM1,299.
Honor Pad V9 specs and price
Where the Honor Pad X9a is intended for content consumption on the go, the Honor Pad V9 is intended for productivity-related tasks and has an 11.5-inch LCD 2.8K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate as well as TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) certification, Dynamic Dimming, Circadian Night Display and an AI Defocus Comfort mode. Content creators will also appreciate the fact that it also has 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut for accurate colour rendition.
Running under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Keeping the laptop powered is a 10,000mAh battery rated for 13.5 hours of online streaming.
The tablet also ships with a Bluetooth keyboard that has an integrated touchpad capable of being detached from the tablet to offer ergonomics like a PC and the Honor Magic Pencil 3 stylus. In Malaysia, the Honor Pad V9 inclusive of the Magic Pencil 3 stylus and keyboard case is available for RM1,999.
Honor MagicBook X14 2025
Intended as a starter laptop for cost conscious users, the Honor MagicBook X14 2025 has a 14-inch display with 1,920 x 1,200 pixels resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 13th Gen Intel Core H-series CPU running Windows 11, 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
The PC also runs on a 42Wh battery rated for up to 7.5 hours of paperwork paired with a 65W charger. In Malaysia, the Honor MagicBook X14 2025 retails for RM2,499 inclusive of a free one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 and a free backpack worth RM508.
Honor Watch 5
The Honor Watch 5 was launched earlier this year in Malaysia but for this new round of releases, Honor has kitted out the Watch 5 with a green faux leather strap for RM50 more at RM649.
New strap aside, the watch is functionally identical with a 1.85-inch AMOLED touch display in an aluminium case with a crown on the side as well as heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep data tracking and up to 15 days of battery life off the built-in 480mAH battery.
Honor Earbuds Open
The Honor Earbuds Open are open-style wireless earbuds that are also intended to have deep integration with AI Live Translation along with a paired Honor smartphone to offer translation support in 15 languages including Chinese, Mandarin, English, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and more with your choice of a Shared Mode, Exclusive Mode and Simultaneous Interpretation mode to cater to most scenarios requiring translations.
