Honor X9 5G and X8 now in Malaysia from RM899 with RM298 in free gifts

The Honor X8 and Honor X9 5G are now available for sale in Malaysia with the Honor X8 priced at RM899 and the Honor X9 5G at RM1,299.

The Honor X9 5G has a 6.81-inch FullView display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth animations onscreen. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 695 processor with a 5GB modem running Android 11 overlaid with their Magic UI 4.2 OS, 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage and up to 2GB of VRAM.

On the rear is a triple camera with a 48MP camera flanked by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor while the front hosts a 16MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support for RM1,299. A non-5G version also exists for RM1,099.

The Honor X8 has a 6.7-inch Full HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, runs Android 11 and Magic UI 4.2 on a Snapdragon 680 CPU, has 6GB RAM paired with up to 2GB vRAM and has 128GB of onboard storage. The rear has a more capable 64MP camera paired with a 5MP ultra wide angle camera as well as a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. The front has a similar 16MP selfie camera. Keeping it juiced is a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging.

Honor is also announced their MagicBook 16 laptop which is on preorders until 13th April 2022 with RM1,585 in free gifts that include an Honor MagicWatch 2 46mm, a copy of Microsoft Office 365 personal, a wireless mouse, a laptop backpack and 1-year worth of battery care.
