Huawei AI Lab & Innovation Centre officially opened at TRX in Malaysia

Huawei officially expanded their presence in Malaysia with the launch and official opening of their Huawei AI Lab & Innovation Centre at the Exchange Centre 106 at TRX, Kuala Lumpur on April 26, 2026 yesterday which also saw Malaysia Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim attending the launch ceremony. 

Huawei AI Lab & Innovation Centre Highlights

Spanning 13,6348 square feet. The new centre showcases Huawei’s latest AI solutions and use cases for digital and energy transformation and is intended to enable closer engagements between industry, R&D, education stakeholders, customers and fellow industry partners for the Asia Pacific region.

The launch of the Huawei AI Lab & Innovation Centre is timely for the brand as they champion their All-Intelligence Strategy that supports a variety of models and applications across industries for synergistic value creation, enhanced connectivity and more efficient ecosystems.

The establishment of the Huawei AI Lab & Innovation Centre marks a meaningful milestone for the brand which has been in Malaysia for 25 years with a significant presence supporting enterprise endeavours in Malaysia as well as offering consumer tech like the latest Huawei MatePad Mini.
