Huawei MatePad Mini tablet and Watch GT Runner 2 watch launched in Malaysia
Huawei Malaysia has launched their latest compact tablet, dubbed the Huawei MatePad Mini as well as a runner-centric Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 optimised for track-related sports activities.

The Huawei MatePad Mini has the approximate dimensions of a super slim paperback that is just 5.2mm thin while weighing just 260g. Up front, it has an 8.8-inch OLED 2.5K PaperMatte Display rated for P3 wide colour gamut, 1800 nits peak brightness and a 16:10 aspect ratio ideal for browsing and reading content like ebooks.
The rear hosts a 50MP camera while the front has a single 32MP camera and the device features a 6,400mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging.

The Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 smartwatch is optimised for marathon runners with multi-style GNSS support that allows for accurate trail tracking even in dense urban locations, features a 3D floating antenna for better signal reception and notably features an Intelligent Marathon Mode. Developed in collaboration with experts, the Intelligent Marathon Mode offers personalised training plans and pre-race preparation and in-depth analysis to create a more guided training experience.
Features aside, the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is made from titanium alloy and weighs just 34.5g while offering 100 sports modes including golf as well as up to 14 days of battery life. In Malaysia, it is available at a price of RM1,499.
