In Malaysia, interested buyers of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition 2025 can pay an RM50 deposit online or an RM100 if you’re doing it offline at a Huawei Experience store between 12 to 18 August 2025 to get an array of gifts worth up to RM698 that includes a Huawei M-Pencil stylus and full PC-Level WPS 2.0 productivity suite. The keyboard case itself as picture below comes bundled with the tablet. Inferring from the specific preorder period that wraps up by 18 August 2025, it’s safe to say that Huawei aims to officially launch the tablet this coming 19 August 2025.
Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition 2025 Specs
The successor to the 2024 edition of the tablet, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition 2025 features an 11.5-inch FullView PaperMatte Display with 2.5K resolution, an 86% screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness and a nano-etched anti-glare surface with a circularly polarised light layer that cuts 60% of light reflections. Thus far, other details are scarce for now but we’ll keep you posted.
The chassis itself is 6.1mm thin and weighs 515g with your choice of either Violet or Space Gray colourways. The rear comes with a single 13MP camera while the front has a single 8MP camera and the tablet is juiced by a 10,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging with PD 3.1 and wireless charging support. There’s no mention of what chipset powers it for now but it runs on HarmonyOS 4.3 with apps source off the Huawei AppGallery.
