Huawei P10 and P10 Plus details leak
An alleged information leak in the form of a product information sheet has just turned up for Huawei’s next generation of phones: the P10 and its larger sibling the P10 Plus. The info sheet ought to be taken with a huge grain of salt until official verification appears but as far as the product sheet goes, it unveils quite a few details.
The Huawei P10 will appear in three variants that differ based on storage and price. Seeing Huawei’s prior modus operandi, not all variants or colours may appear in all markets at the same time. According to the sheet, the P10 will come in three variants. One version with 4GB RAM/32GB storage retails for RMB3,488 (about MYR2,248), one version with 4GB RAM/64GB of storage will retail for RMB4088 (about MYR2,634) and the highest end will come with a whopping 6GB RAM and have 128GB storage for RMB4,688 (about MYR3,021). The P10 Plus will come in two variants. The P10 Plus with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage for RMB4,988 (about MYR 3,214) and the highest end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage will retail for RMB5,699 (about MYR3,665).
The specifications for the P10 are still subject to the rumour mill though leakers have pegged it to come with a 5.5-inch 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution display, have a HiSilicon next-generation 16nm FinFet Kirin 960 chipset, a rear 12-MP dual-camera array with Leica-issued technology for mono and colour shots as well as a front-facing 8-MP selfie camera. Allegedly according to the grapevine, the P10 Plus comes with similar hardware as the P10 including screen resolution but differs in that it comes with a curved display with presumably expanded functionality. If Huawei follows standard procedure, we should see the P10 and P10 Plus unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona sometime near the end of this month. More news as it unfolds.
