Huge MSI MEG X curved gaming monitor coming to Malaysia; slated for October arrival with circa RM6,000 price tag
First glimpsed at CES 2026 as well as at Computex 2026, the MSI MEG X gaming monitor will finally be making its way to Malaysia in the near future.
As gaming monitors go, the MSI MEG X is armed to the teeth with a curved 33.98-inch UWQHD (3,440 x 1,440 pixels) resolution QD-OLED panel with a wide 21:0 aspect ratio, a 150,000,00:1 contrast ratio, a 0.03ms (GtG) response time, a fast 360Hz refresh rate as well as FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC support.
The MSI MEG X also comes with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 as well as VESA Clear MR 18000 certification for deep, pure blacks onscreen and has a quoted 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
In terms of connectivity, it comes with the works including a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1a, a Type-C with 98W power delivery as well as a pair of USB Type-A ports and a single USB Type-B port.
Beyond its hardware, what makes the MSI MEG X particularly potent on the gaming front is its built-in AI processor that offers a cornucopia of AI-related improvements that include an AI Crosshair for FPS games, AI Vision+, AU Audio Scene, AI Scene, AU Gauge and AI Super Resolution that collectively address the pet peeves of gaming like dark scenes, inconsistent directional audio and more. The panel also includes their AI Care Sensor that prevents burn-in.

At its local unveiling, MSI didn’t give specific details as to pricing and launch date for Malaysia but did confirm it will be circa RM6,000 in price and will be launched sometime in October 2026. We’ll keep you posted when we get more details.
