Since then, they’ve carved out a successful niche as a third party laptop charger provider catering to laptops of all sizes and makes from energy efficient ultrabooks to juice guzzling behemoth gaming laptops.

In terms of mission profile, the Innergie T24 240W gaming laptop power adaptor is intended as a lighter, more portable and versatile alternative to a user’s existing charging brick.

In the statistically unlikely event that you own multiple gaming laptops, you can simply swap the DC-IN charging tip out to whichever gaming laptop you’re using at the moment. Weighing in at about 570g in total, the design is relatively man-portable and is a bit lighter than an equivalent charging brick in most laptop designs.

To put it to the test, we swapped out the provided charging brick on an MSI Cyborg 15 A12V laptop that we have in inventory. This particular laptop from MSI has a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with a beefy NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop graphics card which means that it draws plenty of power which is why it ships with a 120W charging brick out of the box. 

When put through standard usage including a few quick matches of Warzone DMZ as well as web browsing and paperwork, our Innergie T24 240W gaming laptop power adaptor review sample functioned identically to the original charger without any significant loss in performance.

Even after several hours of usage, it did not suffer any major heating issues with the charging brick feeling slightly warm to the touch which is well within its performance parameters. 

Charging the laptop from dead zero on the original charger typically requires just under 2 hours and the Innergie T24 240W enjoyed similar charging times, making it an effective, lighter replacement charging brick.
