Kenny Rogers’ new roaster meal is a fruitful culinary endeavour
While the idea sounds incongruous at first, Kenny Rogers’ new fruit themed Fun Fruity Feast roaster meals are surprisingly tasty affairs.
Slathered on top of their signature rotisserie-grilled chicken is what a dollop of what they call ‘Fruity Gravy’ which is a compote of mango and passion fruit.
Added onto this is their new Vanilla Roselle flavoured Homemade muffin and their Garlic Parsley potatoes, a hearty helping of steamed spuds garnished with garlic butter and parsley flakes.
Paired with this ensemble is a special mixture of dragonfruit, roselle and guava juice with a sliver of lemon juice they’ve dubbed as the ‘Merry-Go-Fruity’ drink to balance out the amalgam of flavours.
The tangy, sweet sauce complements the hearty flavour and texture of Kenny Rogers’ chicken while the new muffins are a sweet, unique way to cleanse the palate of the rich flavours of the main meal in between bites. Give the new Fruity meal a whirl at any Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurant nationwide.
Meal options start from RM19.90 inclusive of GST and include a quarter section of Kenny’s Fruity Chicken, a side of Garlic Parsley potatoes, a side dish of your choice and a Vanilla Roselle muffin. There’s also a take-away option where you can get a whole Fruity chicken, half a dozen Vanilla Roselle Muffins and four whole bottles of their Merry-Go-Fruity beverage for RM68.80.
