New ultra customisable Logitech G512 X gaming keyboard coming to Malaysia; prices start from RM799

Logitech has just revealed what is arguably their most sophisticated and customisable keyboard ever – the Logitech G512 X mechanical gaming keyboard that is a literal wishlist of features that gamers both casual and hardcore desire all wrought into one compact design.

At a glance, the Logitech G512 X is a gaming keyboard that supports both analog and mechanical switches. Each key utilises Logitech’s own MX mechanical switches with the option to swap out selected keys with nine Gateron KS-20 magnetic analog switches that come bundled with the keyboard. You also get a set of five Second Actuation Pressure Points (SAPP) that allow for two distinct actuation points per key to unlock nuanced input in a single keystroke. 

That’s not all, Logitech has lavished the G512 X with 39 tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) switch beds clustered mostly along the left side of the keyboard that allow for multipoint actuation. You also get assignable dual dials up top and in keeping with its intended audience, the underside adjustable feet that angle the keyboard can also double as keycap and switch pullers too. 

The attention to detail doesn’t end there and the keyboard itself has integrated storage for the aforementioned nine magnetic analog switches and five SAPP rings. As icing on the cake, you also get a palm rest as well as a blinged up RGB lightbar too. On paper, the keyboard offers up to a true 8K wired connection report rate at 0.125ms for serious gamers where every click matters.

Logitech G512 X price in Malaysia

In terms of pricing, the Logitech G512 X 75-key variant retails for RM799 with the palm rest retailing for RM169 while the G512 X 98-key variant retails for RM829 with a similarly priced palm rest. You also get your choice of two colourways with either a black/purple paint job or a white and teal design.

The keyboards will be available on store shelves this coming 16 May 2026 at all authorised resellers as well as Logitech’s stores on Lazada and Shopee for the Malaysia market.
