Sleek Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 Plus all-electric sedan now in Malaysia priced at RM419,888 OTR

Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz has expanded their line-up of EVs in Malaysia with a sleek pure-electric sedan dubbed the Mercedes-Benz EQE Plus that is priced at RM419,888 on-the-road without insurance.

What is the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 Plus

On the outside, the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 Plus has a sporty, aerodynamic silhouette styled with the brand’s One-Bow-Signature Design aesthetic under their electric Mercedes-EQ marque. Somewhat akin to the slightly larger EQS 450 Plus, the EQE 350 Plus features much of the same functions in a more compact chassis with a slightly more compact wheelbase and more recessed flanks.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 Plus four-door sedan is only available in one configuration in Malaysia and features achassis built around an electric motor that offers up to 288hp with 565Nm of torque that enables it to go from 0-100km/h in just 6.4 seconds with a maximum rated speed of 210km/h. 

On paper, the car has an approximate range of up to 669km off its 90.56kWh lithium-ion battery. With 170kW DC fast charging, the EQE 350 Plus is able to go from 10 to 80% charge in about 32 minutes.

On the inside the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 Plus features a sleek 12.3-inch instrument display and 12.8-inch portrait-style touchscreen running their own sleek Mercedes-Benz User-Experience (MBUX) software taking pride of place in a lushly appointed dashboard along with a Burmester surround sound system, sports seats done up with synthetic microfibre in a dual-toned black and Space Grey colourway with the front seats featuring four-way lumbar support, chromed alloy pedals and a wireless charging pad near the front for phones and whatnot.
