MSI Vision X AI gaming desktop and MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 gaming monitor launched in Malaysia
Fresh from Computex 2025, MSI has introduced their latest MSI Vision X AI gaming desktop as well as the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 gaming to Malaysia though exact pricing and configuration is not available just yet.

In essence a massive gaming desktop with a fully functional, and equally massive 13-inch FHD IPS front touchscreen display that can act as a secondary display or to show PC diagnostics, the MSI Vision X AI gaming desktop is a majestic affair that can dominate any gaming setup.

On paper, the roomy interior of the MSI Vision X AI can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with both cooled by their own SilentStorm Cooling AI which independently isolates critical components in separate air chambers to minimise heat build-up while an onboard AI optimises fan speed while keeping noise down at 17.7dB when used in Silent Mode.

You also get a massive array of ports including six USB Type-A 5Gbps ports, a USB Type-C 10Gbps port, a mic-in, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A 10Gbps ports and a USB Type-C 20Gbps port. There’s no exact word on pricing or configuration just yet but we’ll keep you posted when we get details.

Designed for gamers who demand excellent visuals, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED is a 26.5-inch flat QD-OLED panel that has WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution, a respectable 500Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms (GtG) response time. The display also boasts of an equally impressive VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black HDR certification that ensures deep, rich blacks and vibrant visuals along with beautifully rich colour rendition. Colour rendition is also superb as well and the panel has a Delta E of less than 2 along with 99% DCI-P3 which makes it a viable choice for prosumer content creators.

That’s not all, in keeping with MSI’s other flagship panels, the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 gaming monitor also has their MSI OLED Care 3.0 sensor that activates their OLED protection algorithm and if they detect the panel is idle to prevent screen burn-in. Of note is that it also has a robust 3-year QD-OLED warranty that also covers screen burn-in.

Like other MSI gaming monitors, the MPG 271QR- OLED X50 has an array of gaming-centric features including their AI Crosshair feature that projects a built-in crosshair for first person shooter games that can make no-cope shots a viable prospect. In terms of ports, the display covers the essentials including 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1a, a Type-C port with 98W power delivery, a pair of USB Type-A and a single Type-B port. There’s no specific pricing yet for the Malaysia market or an exact availability date but we’ll keep you posted.
