Neffos will be showcasing their dual-camera N1 phone at IFA 2017
TP-Link is a brand best known for offering a range of solid networking hardware in Malaysia but they are slowly gaining traction locally with their Neffos subbrand of smartphones. Their current crop of phones are primarily entry range though they are aiming to showcase their first high-end phone at IFA 2017 dubbed the N1.
On paper, the Neffos N1 looks promising with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 7.5mm thin casing, 4GB RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a dual rear camera that will offer ‘higher-quality photos and videos’.
Other details are sparse on the N1 including what processor it will run but they are claiming a ‘fast and efficient’ processor will run under the hood and that the battery will be charged via a USB Type-C port but seeing as this is Neffos’ first flagship phone, there’s no precedent for its specifications or performance.
However, the official renders of the N1 bear quite a few stylistic similarities to a couple of existing smartphones in the market that are also from another Chinese manufacturer, in particular the placement and look of its antenna bands and rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Still, the jury is out until we see how it looks like in the proverbial. Stay tuned and we’ll fill you in on what the N1 has to offer at IFA 2017 once they’ve made an official announcement.
