New Acer Aspire Vero 15 laptop blends performance and sustainability in one slim design
Many brands talk about making their products greener but the new Acer Aspire Vero 15 laptop that was revealed at the Next@Acer live stream brings the idea to reality. Unlike its predecessor that debuted last year, the new Acer Aspire Vero 15 incorporates even more recycled materials and optimises waste in its product lifespan.

What is the Acer Aspire Vero 15
Aesthetically speaking, the new Acer Aspire Vero 15 makes for a very distinctive design with its unique speckled top lid and keyboard tray on account of being made from recycled plastic. When compared to the last generation Acer Aspire Vero series, the new Acer Aspire Vero 15 uses 40% of PCR plastic in its construction, which is a notable bump up from 30% from last year’s model which also results in 30% fewer C02 emissions . Of note is that the keycaps and adapter consist of 50% PCR materials while the trackpad uses recycled ocean-bound plastic. Even better, the packaging ships in 100% recycled paper and up to 90% recycled cardboard.
In terms of hardware, the new Acer Aspire Vero 15 has a 15.6-inch 1080p display with 100% sRGB, up to 13th Gen Intel i7 CPUs with Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to two M.2 SSD slots with up to 1TB storage and a full set of I/O including a pair of Thunderbolt 4/USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type- A ports, a HDMI 2.1 port and an audio jack too.
Repairs are made easier as well with easily removable components and standard screws to further sustain its service life.
In terms of pricing, the Acer Aspire Vero 15 will arrive in the US this June from USD$699,99, in EMEA this May from EUR899 and also in China at the same time frame from RMB4,499.
