New Acer Swift Go 14, Veriton desktops and PD163Q dual-screen foldable monitor launched in Malaysia

Companies looking to upgrade their hardware pool will love what Acer has to offer as they have released their new Acer Swift Go 14 laptop, the Veriton S2702G and Veriton X2720G desktops, the Acer PD163Q dual-screen monitor and the X1528Ki projector in Malaysia.

The new Acer Veriton S2720G and Veriton X2720G are tower-style entry-level desktops for corporate use. Both desktops come with 14th Gen Intel Core CPUs, 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD out of the box though both have extensive options for upgrades for additional storage and RAM before purchase and afterwards.

Of note is that both desktops integrate the discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) to ensure that they remain tamper proof. Both desktops are now available in Malaysia with the Acer Veriton X2720G with an Intel Core i3 retailing for RM2,899 while the Intel Core i5 costs RM3,289 and up. The Acer Veriton S2720G with an Intel Core i5 clocks in at RM3,399 and up.

Acer PD163Q dual-screen portable monitor specs and price

You can never have enough displays and the Acer PD163Q epitomises that ideal as it comes with not one but two 15.6-inch IPS LCD displays hinged together in landscape mode with a rear metal kickstand.

The displays have 72% NTSC colour gamut reproduction, have a 60Hz refresh rate and 8ms grey to grey response time and a peak brightness of 250 nits. The Acer PD163Q is well equipped on the I/O front too with a pair of Type-C ports, a mini HDMI port as well as an audio out to cover the gamut of use cases. It can also be used in portrait mode if you deign to do so though propping it up may require some creativity. In Malaysia, the PD163Q retails for RM1,699.

Acer X1528Ki projector specs and price

When there’s no space for a display, a projector is the perfect solution. The Acer X1528Ki can kick out a 60-inch image from just 2 metres distance and has up to 5,2000 ANSI Lumens along with ColorBoost3D tech for authentic colour reproduction, Acer LumiSense tech for easy colour and brightness adjustments as well as ColorSafe II tech for finetuning dynamic RGB levels to prevent colour decay. In Malaysia, the Acer 1528Ki is priced at RM2,799.

Acer Swift Go 14 Specs and Price

The latest addition to their ultraportable arsenal, the Acer Swift Go 14 has been upgunned with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU paired with Intel Arc graphics as well as the obligatory AI embellishments to make it an even more potent productivity platform. The rest of the hardware consists of a 14-inch WUXGA touch screen that has integrated with a 180-degree fold flat display, up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to a 1TB SSD and battery life rated at up to 12.5 hours of usage. Connectivity is comprehensive with dual USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, a USB Type-A port for charging other gear, a HDMI 2.1 port and a microSD card reader. 

In Malaysia, the Acer Swift Go 14 will be available from 28 April 2024 nationwide priced from RM3,899 and up with the 32GB RAM/1TB SSD and touchscreen variant retailing for RM5,199.
