ASUS Perfect Warranty and Premium Care plans explained
By default, all ASUS laptops come with a standard 2-year international warranty and a 1-year Perfect Warranty during the first year of the warranty period.
For the uninitiated, Perfect Warranty is effective accidental damage protection and covers accidental drop and breakage, liquid spills and electrical surges for repair. In terms of repair costs for Perfect Warranty, it’s allowed once with labour costs paid by the user and 80% of the parts costs covered by ASUS.
ASUS customers with more extensive needs who need a longer warranty period can also invest in special ASUS Premium Care packages that offer up to 3 years of warranty including a special local onsite service team where ASUS technicians can come to your doorstep for repairs.
Prices for the Premium Care plans range from RM99 and up all the way to RM699 for the most premium package depending on the model with the consumer grade laptops like the Zenbook, Vivobook and standard models being the most affordable while gaming laptops encompass the ROG and TUF series laptops.
