Vividly vibrant OMEGA Aqua Terra Shades timepieces debut in Malaysia
In a gala event at the OMEGA Boutique in Gardens Mall Kuala Lumpur, the brand launched their vibrant Aqua Terra Shades timepiece collection which consists of ten unique hued dials along with two variants crafted in 18K gold that adds a luxurious touch to these exclusive timepieces.
OMEGA Aqua Terra Shades 34mm and 38mm – Sleek design and lavish attention to detail
The new Aqua Terra Shades collection features ten colourways and two different dial sizes, each of which has their five unique dial colours. The larger 38mm variants come in Atlantic Blue, Bay Green, Sandstone, Saffron and Terracotta while the smaller 34mm variants come in Sea Blue, Lagoon Green, Sandstone, Shell Pink and Lavender.
Size aside, the 38mm and 34mm variants of the Aqua Terra Shades Collection have similar features with the dial itself crafted from brushed brass with subtle strokes radiating outwards from the centre like sun rays. To achieve the unique hues that the new range is known for, OMEGA has used a new Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technology that enables the brass itself to accept these new colourways onto the brass itself.
Closer inspection reveals that rhodium-plated hands and indexes for the 38mm variant while the 34mm version integrates 18K white gold for the hands and indexes. Common to all variants is a polished stainless steel crown with the whole affair rated for being waterproof down to 150 metres. All of the timepieces in the collection feature stainless steel bracelets with rounded links for an elegant touch.
Powering the OMEGA Aqua Terra Shades collection is a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 movement with a Master Chronometer certification that ensures that the watch and its movement meets the highest standards of quality, precision and magnetic resistance by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
OMEGA Aqua Terra Shades 34mm and 38mm in Gold variant
For more discerning horophiles looking for more distinguished designs, OMEGA is issuing one version of the 34mm and the 38mm Aqua Terra Shades in gold. The 38mm variant is lavished with 46 diamonds totalling 1.77 carats across its bezel with a sandstone hued dial and a reddish, warm 18K Sedna Gold embellishing the data window along with the bracelet itself.
The 34mm Aqua Terra Shades variant has a brighter, more golden 18K Moonshine Gold gracing a Lagoon Green dial with the date window applied with 18K Moonshine Gold along with the sailboat indexes.
