OPPO’s F1s shows its stuff at KLPF with photo exhibition
The Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival (KLPF) at the Kenanga Wholesale City mall is an annual affair that offers shutterbugs a chance to talk shop, check out the latest hardware and admire the work of their fellow peers. OPPO was there in force with a booth showcasing their latest F1s selfie phone which bucks the trend by packing a more powerful 16-MP front selfie camera than what many other phones would pack though the rear 13-MP snapper is quite a capable performer in its own right. To find out more about the F1s, check out our prior piece here.
At KLPF, OPPO showcased a photo exhibition that consisted of 40 photographs taken with their F1s phone. The snaps were by celebrated professionals such as Kim Teoh, Jessica Chan, Wong Kim Kiat, Kong Yuk Loong and Ashraf Saharudin who put the F1s through its paces.
The exhibition also featured a selection of winning snaps taken by university students from INTI International University, the Dasein Academy of Art, The One Academy and UCSI University who participated in a one-day competition in Melaka using the phone.
Professional photographers Jessica Chan and Kevin Ng also took time out to share their knowledge in an OPPO workshop where they share tips on getting great shots out of the F1s.
One of the shots taken with the F1s’ rear camera using HDR mode was sufficiently large enough that they managed to blow up a two-meter sized print, which they showcased onstage.
The OPPO F1s retails for RM1,198 and is available in either Gold or Rose Gold nationwide.

OPPO also showcased the winning shots from the top three students of their university photo competition which have enjoyed the bare minimum of tweaks before submission.
