Mercedes-AMG and renowned watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen have teamed up to create the unique Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG which was unveiled during a webcast between Christoph Grainger-Herr, IWC CEO and Philipp Scheiemer, Mercedes-AMG CEO as well as Maro Engel, shared brand ambassador and racing driver.

What is the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG is IWC’s first 43mm Pilot’s Watch Chronograph and is built around an IWC-manufactured 69385 automatic movement with a 46 hour power-reserve that powers an intricate mechanism with two functional levels and a column wheel through a dial made of light yet durable woven carbon fibre acquired from AMG’s aero components.
In keeping with its prestigious pedigree, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG features a case hewn from durable titanium with 6ATM of water resistance and the distinctive Mercedes-AMG logo emblazoned on the tinted sapphire crystal case back. Wrapping off this stylish example of engineering is a black embossed calf leather strap with contrast stitching and a folding clasp.
The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition AMG will be available for pre-orders from 21st May at IWC’s official online site, through their chain of IWC boutiques and authorised retail partners across the globe with a stated pre-order price of CHF 9,900 which is about RM45,618.
