Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR makes surprise Malaysia debut with RM7,499 price tag
In a surprising plot twist, Honor Malaysia has released two ultra premium Porsche collaborative variants of their flagship Honor Magic6 Pro and their Honor Magic V2 respectively dubbed the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR and the Porsche Design Honor Magic V2 RSR that feature distinctively different aesthetics, beefier specifications and impressive price tags.
What is the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR
Originally intended as a China exclusive model designed in collaboration with top car makers Porsche, the new Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR is a massively upgunned variant of the already flagship Honor Magic6 Pro.
While the chassis has the same basic candybar form factor as the stock Magic6 Pro, the revamped Porsche Design version has a hexagonal camera housing on the rear done up in a purplish shade of what they refer to as Frozen Berry which is akin to the Porsche Taycan along with Agate Grey which is akin to the classic Porsche 911 beloved by fictional rocker Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077.

To wit, the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR packs the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 as the base flagship but upguns it to almost absurd heights with 24GB RAM and a massive 1TB of storage. Bar that, the display is a similarly sized 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with 1,280 x 2,800 pixels resolution along with the same ultra durable NanoCrystal Shield protecting it. That aside, it has a similar rear 180MP Tele-falcon camera setup and front 50MP camera along with the same 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless changing.
Needless to say, the Porsche Design Honor Magic6 RSR is available in extremely limited numbers in Malaysia and you’ll have to register your interest first ahead of time though no local details have been released as yet. In any case, acquiring the phone will cost you s a princely RM7,499 but you’ll certainly have one heck of a conversation piece.
