PrismPlus launches new Laguna smart ceiling fan and PureFresh fridges in Malaysia
Affordable home appliance and TV purveyor PrismPlus has launched their Laguna smart ceiling fan and their new line-up of PureFresh refrigerator series in Malaysia.
Laguna Smart Ceiling fan specs and details
The Laguna smart ceiling fan is arguably the most sophisticated and customisable ceiling fan yet seen as buyers can choose three different fan blade colours (Matte White, Matte Black and Dark Wood for a bit extra), a standard as well as a smart version and a version of each with or without a 24W tri-colour LED.
Rather than sheer brute force, the Laguna smart ceiling fan has special wingtip-shaped fan blades made of ABS that optimise air flow to the tune of 10,025 cubic feet per minute which exceeds existing competitive designs in the market while utilising silent DC brushless motors. That’s not all, the design also uses a Parrel ball mount to ensure quieter operation and greater safety too. The end result? A smooth, silent and more power efficient design that uses 35-40W per hour compared to 80-90W for competing designs.
Where the Laguna smart ceiling fans get their name is that they’re able to be remotely controlled, assuming you get the smart model, with the free Prism+ app so that you can turn it on or off remotely, select different modes and routines and even offer insights on usage. If that’s too complicated, you can just get the standard model.
Depending on configuration, the base no frills model just clocks in at just RM179 without LED lights or dark wood blades while the smart model is just RM279 which is still a steal for what it offers. Purefresh fridge specs and details
The PureFresh refrigerators come in a number of sizes including minibar versions for more compact living scenarios. At the top of the head are four-door versions in 580L and 700L capacities in either Inox or Gentle Matte Black finishes while a larger side-by-side configuration offers an expansive 720l capacity in either Inox or Gentle Matte Black.
The new PrismPlus PureFresh fridges also have No Frost tech to eliminate ice-build up, an advanced inverter compressor and Multi-Zone cooling to enhance energy efficiency and have an array of sensors to optimise temperature and energy usage while keeping food fresh.
There are also Purefresh Mini Bar fridges in MB50 and MB90 models that can fit into smaller spaces and in your choice of Inox or Black Inox. Like their larger brethren, they also have energy-efficient compressors, a fresh food zone, a crisper drawer and a reversible door. Prices start from RM399.
