Razer Kiyo Pro webcam now available in Malaysia with an RM1,149 price tag
Razer is best known for their gaming keyboards, mice and, of late, notebooks too like their refreshed Blade series but this time around they’re adding a potent new addition to their line-up idea for game streamers and work-from-home executives. Meet the Razer Kiyo Pro.
The Razer Kiyo Pro is a webcam on steroids and is a massive upgunned version of their original Kiyo streaming webcam.
Using a 1/2.8 CMOS sensor with what Razer calls STARVIS tech, the Kiyo Pro has the ability to record or stream 1080p@60fps video along with a HDR video at 30fps per second with quality results even in harshly backlit or dim lighting scenarios typical of home usage. This makes it ideal not only for content creators but for corporate executives looking for a more powerful alternative over a conventional laptop webcam.
The Razer Kiyo Pro also addresses one of the shortcomings of conventional webcams as you’re able to dial the wide-angle lens from 80-degrees to 90-degrees to a super wide 103-degree field of view to allow for anything from a close-up headshot all the way to a wide group shot as the situation demands it.
Connecting the Kiyo Pro is via a braided cable with a USB 3.0 connection for a 5GB/s signal and the webcam also has a built-in privacy shutter and a built in omni directional stereo mic so you can get started streaming out of the box.
