CES 2023 – New Razer Leviathan V2 Pro PC soundbar with head-tracking AI and 3D audio launched at USD$400

Renowned gaming accessories purveyor Razer took the wraps off their latest addition to their Leviathan series soundbars at CES 2023. Dubbed the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro, the new soundbar uses an infrared camera and head-tracking AI to track your bonce in real time and sound is beamformed to your ears for vivid 3D audio.

The upgunned successor to last year’s Razer Leviathan V2 and the budget Leviathan V2 X, the Leviathan V2 Pro PC is a beefy soundbar intended for deployment on a PC and made its global debut next to other new Razer accessories like the new Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra.

What is the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro

Head-tracking capabilities aside, the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro soundbar has a 2.1 setup that features a soundbar unit which packs five full range 2-inch drivers with a frequency response of 40Hz – 20KHz and THX Spatial Audio support that perches on your desk. Seeing as this is Razer issue hardware, it has 30 zones of RGB chroma for a personalised light show.

The whole affair is paired with a dedicated subwoofer unit that weighs about 5 kg and features a single downward firing 5.25-inch subwoofer unit. In terms of inputs, the soundbar offers USB-C in, Bluetooth 50  and the traditional 2.5mm audio jack. For more finessed control of its higher functions, the soundbar works in tandem with Razer’s own Synapse app.
