Razer Tomahawk is one sharp looking gaming desktop that costs US$2,400
Razer has a host of gaming laptops from their Razer Blade line-up but they’re now getting into the desktop game, literally so as they’re releasing their Razer Tomahawk gaming desktop that’s armed to the teeth with full sized NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 graphics cards.
The Razer Tomahawk gaming desktop is a small form factor (SFF) 10L chassis that has a modular design and a tool-less sled system which involves a ‘sled’ – hence the name that slides out from the chassis for easy access to vital components. And yes, it has Chroma RGB underglow lighting.
Configurations vary depending on how deep your pockets go but Razer is offering it with an Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM,a 1512GB SSD and 2TB hard disk storage combo and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card.
To retain the Razer Tomahawk’s compact dimensions, it hosts an Intel NUC 9 Extreme Computing Element card that shoehorns the processor, RAM and SSD onto a single module that attaches to the aforementioned sled. This sled also hosts the hard disk, a 750W power supply and an additional PCIe slot if you’re not getting the RTX 3080 GPU variant.
