Razer’s Project Valerie concept gaming notebook packs THREE displays
The Consumer Electronics Show is a showcase of the engineering prowess of each of the world’s largest tech manufacturers as they vie to show the technorati the best hardware that they can muster for the year including concept pieces that push the envelope. In Razer’s case, it’s a veritable drop mic moment when they took the wraps off Project Valerie.
This massive concept gaming laptop has not one, not two but – count them – three built-in displays into its chassis that slide out from either end of the primary centre display to create a nigh panoramic experience. Each display is 17.3-inches with 4K resolution and has NVIDIA’s G-SYNC tech with 100% Adobe RGB colour accuracy.
The keyboard sports Razer’s ultra-low profile mechanical switches, each of which registers 65g of force akin to a full-sized mechanical keyboard while also supported Razer’s psychedelic Chroma colour backlighting. The rig is also VR ready as it comes with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 card. Project Valerie is conceptual for now but this is one of the most jaw-dropping rigs ever conceived.
