realme C100 series with huge 7,000mAh battery launched in Malaysia from RM599

realme has launched their new realme C100 5G and realme C100i phones in Malaysia that cram in massive batteries and improved survivability from nicks and drops at modest prices that start from RM599.

Both the realme C100 5G and realme C100i both feature MIL-STD-810H shock and drop resistance ratings as well as a robust IP64 dust and splash resistance rating but visually differ in terms of their rear camera housings and also the hardware they have running under the hood.

The higher end realme C100 5G has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (750 x 1,570 pixels) resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, run Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 on a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 processor and feature $GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB eMMC 5.1 storage expandable via a microSD card slot. Interestingly, the C100 5G also has a 3.5mm audio jack too, making it one of the few phones today that lets you use wired headphones.

The rear hosts a single 50MP main camera with autofocus while the front has a single 5MP camera. Keeping the phone powered is the aforementioned massive 7,000mAh battery. In terms of pricing, the realme C100 5G officially retails for RM1,099 but for a limited time from 9 May to 7 June 2026, you can get it for RM899. The realme C100i is a more modest design that still retains a similarly sized 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a slightly lower 120Hz refresh rate and 900 nits peak brightness as well as the same 7,000mAh battery though it has slower 16W wired charging.

Other key differences include the chipset with the realme C100i running a UniSoc T7250 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of expandable storage via microSD card. Another interesting oddity is that connectivity is capped at 4G and the phone lacks 5G. The camera setup is also more modest as well with the rear hosting a single 8MP camera and the front a single 5MP camera.
