Samsung employees share how Samsung Electronics is reducing carbon emissions for 50th World Environment Day 2022

Every 5th of June is World Environment Day with this year marking the 50th anniversary of the tradition with a theme of ‘Only One Earth’.

As organisations are becoming more ecologically aware and working to actively reduce their carbon footprint and improve sustainability, Samsung Electronics is at the forefront with a concerted effort across every aspect of their operations to take sustainability to new heights.

Recently, the brand announced that they will be transitioning their customer service centres towards a paper free environment which saves tons of trees and water too.

For World Environment Day 2022 today, Samsung employees in South Korea from Samsung’s Visual Display (VD), Mobile eXperience (MX) and Digital Appliance (DA) Business divisions share how Samsung Electronics is championing sustainability in their operations.
