New 32-inch Samsung M8 and M7 monitors let you see more and do more; limited time launch offers from RM2,238

Having the right display can vastly increase your productivity especially if you are wont to work on things that require a large amount of screen real estate like spreadsheets or video editing though having a large display makes gaming and movie watching a treat.

If you’re in the market for a new monitor, you’re in luck as the latest refreshed Samsung M8 and M7 displays are now available in Malaysia with special discounts for a limited time only.

What are the new Samsung M8 and M7 monitors?

Officially designated as the Samsung M80C and the Samsung M70C displays, the two new Smart Monitors feature 32-inch 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) resolution displays with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 4ms response time and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio  with similar aesthetics that include 11.39mm thin sides at its thinnest point with a natty herringbone pattern on the rear.

While both  the Samsung M8 and M7 Smart Monitors have the same resolution with the same 99% sRGB colour gamut support, they differ in that the higher end M8 is slightly brighter at 400 nits peak brightness has HDR10+ support and has a webcam bundled in for video calls along with an integrated SmartHub to allow it to interact with Samsung’s other smart home devices.

The more affordable Samsung M7 has slightly lower peak brightness at 300 nits and has HDR10 support while ditching a bundled webcam and Smart Hub.

Of note with the Samsung M8 and M7 is a nifty My Contents feature that detects if your smartphone is nearby via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and then pulls useful content for display from the phone like photos, the weather and other interesting details.

Samsung M8 and M7 Smart Monitor price in Malaysia

In terms of pricing, the new Samsung M8 monitor costs RM3,588 while the Samsung M7 costs RM2,788. If you purchase it before 9th July 2023, you can get a flat RM700 off its retail price so you can get the M8 for just RM2,888 and the M7 for just RM2,238.
