Samsung Odyssey G9 gaming monitor pre-orders with RM1,499 in free gifts ongoing till 31st August 2020

After the debut of the Samsung Odyssey G7 gaming monitor, Samsung has also revealed that their larger and beefier 49-inch Odyssey G9 gaming monitor is up for preorders with a host of free gifts until 31st August 2020.

Samsung Odyssey G9 specifications

The Odyssey G9 comes with an ultra-wide 49-inch DQHD resolution (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) QLED panel with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a 32:9 aspect ratio with a 1ms (GTG) response time along with G-Sync and Adaptive-sync support make it ideal for gaming, in particular first person shooters. For a more immersive GAMING experience, the Odyssey G9 has a precise 1000R curvature.

Of note is an adjustable stand that offers height and angle to suit any viewer. In keeping with the recent obsession to add lighting to everything in sight, the Odyssey G9 has what Samsung cals Infinity Core Lighting that offers your choice of 52 different swappable colours and 5 different lighting effects on demand that you can swap to at will.

Seeing the ongoing demand, Samsung has extended the preorder period for the prior Odyssey  G7 gaming monitor along with the new Odyssey G9 until 31st August 2020. The Odyssey G9 retails for RM6,199 and preorders will get you a free HW-T650 soundbar worth RM1,499. 

The preorder freebies for the Odyssey G7 monitors retail for RM2,899 for the 32-inch version with a free HW-T450 soundbar worth RM799 while the 27-inch Odyssey G7 monitor retails for RM2,399 and gets you a free HW-T420 soundbar worth RM649.
