Samsung wants you to Sing TogethAR for Malaysia

If you fancy yourself a singer or are in some fashion able to hold a tune, you can do your bit for the nation and have fun while doing it too as Samsung is launching their #singtogethAR programme that involves Malaysians contributing and uploading AR emoji video. With each successful AR Emoji video featured, Samsung will donate RM3 to Tabung Harapan Malaysia.

The #singtogethAR campaign starts today 16 July 8.00PM all the way through to 10 August 2018 11.59PM and is relatively simple to undertake. For starters, you’ll need to get your hands on a Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+, their current flagship phones in Malaysia. In lieu of that, you can also drop by any Samsung Experience store in Malaysia to borrow one, and mayhaps experience what Samsung’s wunderkinds have to offer for yourself, for the next important step.

Once you’ve sorted out that bit, you need to create an AR Emoji on the Galaxy S9 or S9+ which creates an animated cartoon caricature of your mug. With your AR Emoji ready, all you have to do is to sing the lyrics and chorus to that age-old song Rasa Sayang. Once you’re done and sorted recording your performance, all you have to do is to upload it to the www.singtogethar.com website in 720P MP4 format along with your personal details and you’re set to make history.
