Expanded Sharp Travel with Parents TV series to debut in May 2024
To expand their presence in Malaysia, Sharp teamed up with Astro last year to create a special Sharp Travel with Mommy TV series that saw rave reviews.
Now, they’re kicking off an expanded second season that will debut in May 2024 dubbed the Sharp Travel with Parents TV series and shared the news in an event that saw a host of local personalities as well as SHARP’s Parents’ Day campaign ambassador Jason Yeoh and his mother Madam Lim Poh Choo gracing the occasion.
“The theme of travelling with parents has resonated strongly with our audience, and following the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our first season with Astro, we were eager to launch the second season. This new season honours all parents by expanding the program to include the entire family. Our aim for the ‘Travel with Parents’ series is to craft special moments that every family member can treasure,” said Mr Ting Yang Chung, Managing Director of SHARP Malaysia.
What is the Sharp Travel with Parents TV series
The Sharp Travel with Parents TV series showcases travels across the region facilitated by Sharp’s array of innovative lifestyle products and saw high viewership ratings and won the ‘Best Lifestyle Programme’ for the Malaysia region at the Asian Academy Creatives Awards.
Season 2 of the show will debut on 12 May 2024 at 9.30PM MYT on Astro AEC, Astro GO, On Demand and sooka. Locations visited during the season include Australia, Macau, Taiwan and local Malaysian tourist spots that include Sitiawan and Pangkor Island.
To celebrate the launch, Sharp is also launching a special Parents’ Day promotion with discounts up to 40% as well as free gifts with purchases that cover over 70 Sharp products including televisions, washing machines, air conditioners and more.
