Based on data garnered from the IDC Worldwide Global Forecast, the world will generate 175 zettabytes of data by 2025 and this will grow to 2,100 zettabytes within a decade. However, challenges remain with 85% of organisations still fumbling about in the early stages while more than 55% of organisations have already experienced cyberattacks.

Also showcased was their ActiveProtect backup appliance for enterprises that is capable of protecting workloads across multiple sites with capacities ranging from 8TB to 140TB with the ability for immutable backups, air-gap capabilities and regulatory compliance support.

The centrepiece of their showcase was their their first all-NVMe enterprise storage solution dubbed the PAS7700 that is designed for mission-critical workloads with end-to-end NVMe architecture capable of achieving up to 2 million IOPs and 30 GB/s throughput with less than 1 millisecond latency.
