Transcend launches new line-up of Lightning port enabled kit for iOS devices

Getting extra storage is always a royal pain in the posterior when it comes to anyone owning iOS kit but storage purveyor Transcend has just launched a complete line-up of Lightning port enabled kit that consists of the RDA2W card reader and an assortment of USB-to-Lightning connecter enabled flash drives to make life a wee bit easier.

The new RDA2W smart reader  comes with card readers that accept microSD and SD cards and has – you guessed it – a Lightning port to interface directly with an iPhone, iPad or iPod so you can transfer data, read images off a camera SD card and the like. It retails for RM129.

The rather wordily appellated new JDF300S/K/R flash drives have a conventional USB port on one end and a Lightning port on the other and come in 32GB (RM239), 64GB (RM329) and 128GB (RM539). The slightly smaller JDG500S/G flash drives are a bit more compact in terms of design and cost a prettier penny with a 32GB variant costing RM289 while the 64GB variant retails for RM399. A 128GB variant retails for RM519. The new line-up of Transcend peripherals is available at Amble Action and Alphamatic. For more details swing by their respective websites here and here.transcend
