Vivo X500 series officially launched in Malaysia from RM4,699

vivo has officially launched their latest vivo X500 series in Malaysia that consists of the vivo X500 Pro Max, the vivo X500 Pro and the vivo X500 fresh from their official debut in China last month.

vivo X500 Pro Max specs

The more powerful of the two, the vivo X500 Pro Max.comes with a 6.85-inch 2K ZEISS Master Color Display that offers up to 4,400 nits peak brightness, a dynamic 1-144Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage running Android 17 and Origin OS 7.

For imaging duties, the rear comes with a 50MP ZEISS TrueDynamic main camera, a 50MP ZEISS ultra wide angle camera and a 200MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. What makes this camera particularly interesting is its ability to capture 8K@30fps video as well as 4K@240fps ultra slow-motion video. Up front, the phone has a single 50MP camera for selfies. Keeping things powered is a 7,800mAH battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The more affordable of the duo, the vivo X500 Pro hosts a smaller 6.36-inch 1.5K ZEISS Master Color Display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3. The chipset is identical as the Pro max – the Dimensity 9600 Pro paired with 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. 

The rear features a triple camera array that consists of a 50MP ZEISS TrueDynamic main camera, a 50MP ZEISS ultra wide angle camera and a 64MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera. Up front, the phone has a 50MP selfie camera. Keeping the phone powered is a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The most affordable out of the three vivo X500 series phones, the vivo X500 comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 2,750 x 1,260 pixels resolution and up to 1 44Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is a Mediatek Dimensity 9600M octacore processor paired with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage with the whole affair running Android 17 with Origin OS 7.

The rear comes with a triple camera array that consists of a 50MP ZEISS Main camera that uses a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor and OIS, a 50MP ZEISS ultrawide angle camera and a 64MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera with 3.1x zoom as well as OIS. Up front, the phone has a single 50MP selfie camera. Keeping the phone powered is a 7,500mAh batery with 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

In Malaysia, the vivo X500 Pro Max is priced from RM6,399, the vivo X500 Pro from RM5,699 and the vivo X500 from RM4,699. The entire line-up can be preordered from now until 2 November 2026 and those who do can get rewards worth up to RM4,700 and a chance to win tickets to Jay Chou’s ‘Carnival II’ World Tour 2027 via a lucky draw.
