HTC has repriced the gorgeous looking U Ultra to RM2,599

HTC’s gorgeous looking flagship the U Ultra is a distinctive looking phone with a novel mirrored finish and stands out for the fact that on top of its crisp 5.7-inch 1,440 x 2,560 513ppi primary display, it also has a secondary 2-inch style ticker-tape style upper display for notifications. At launch earlier this year, it came at a rather hefty RM2,999 price tag but HTC Malaysia has now revised the price to a very attractive RM2,599 which is RM400 off the original asking price.

That’s quite a substantial discount indeed as you’re getting some pretty high-end flagship-grade hardware for what you’re paying for. The U Ultra comes with a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage with a rear 12-MP camera that has an F/1.9 aperture, OIS and larger 1.55 micro pixels on the camera for better snaps. The front also has a 16-MP selfie camera and their vaunted UltraPixel mode for low light shots. All this is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

To sweeten the pot, HTC has also announced an early buyer appreciation programme for those who purchased the HTC U Ultra from 1 March to 13 April 2017 and has come up with a goodie bundle of awesome gifts on the house that include the periscope-shaped HTC Re Camera and a host of HTC premiums too.
