Corsair unveils new gaming peripherals, casings and more

Corsair unveiled a whole host of new products in Malaysia that are slated to arrive in the coming months or that are already in the market across their product range from gaming mice all to the way to refreshed updates of their vaunted desktop PC cases too though several of their offerings look particularly tempting for gamers aspiring for better gaming kit such as their Corsair Harpoon RGB wireless mouse, Ironclaw RGB mouse, their rather blinged up K70 RGB Mk. 2 mechanical gaming keyboard. Befitting their emphasis on customisation, many of their offerings boast compatibility with their iCue software that allows users to customise RGB colours schemes on demand.

While it’s not intended for gaming, the K83 wireless entertainment keyboard is, as you’d surmise from its name, intended for you to tinker around with content playback while lying on a couch as it features a rounded touchpad on the right that looks much like a DJ’s spin disc along with a small thumbpad on the upper right quadrant. To avoid wires mucking up the living room, the K83 uses Corsair’s Slipstream wireless tech that ensures sub-1ms connection speeds and can wirelessly connect with any PC, smart TV or streaming media player over 2.4Ghz wireless or via Bluetooth. The K83 is slated to arrive sometime in May for RM479.

Corsair also announced new additions to their lineup of casings like the Carbide Series 678C casing that features an ergonomic interior layout for easier access to components, hinged panels combined with tempered glass so you can admire the interior, a trio of SP140 PWM fans, six hard disk trays, three SSD trays and a foam lining around the chassis to ensure dampened noise. This will retail for RM869.

Another addition is the Corsair 680X RGB that has a dual-chambered design to keep the wiring out of sight, a trio of LL120 RGB fans, a trio of hard disk trays, 4 SSD trays as well as a hinged side panel for easier access to the interior. Seeing as this is a Corsair issued offering, it has a trio of tempered glass panels on the top, side and front so you can admire all your iCue enhanced bling. The Corsair 680X RGB retails for RM1,199

The Harpoon RGB wireless mouse features their Slipstream wireless tech, iCue colour lighting compatibility and about 30 or so hours of battery life. It is slated to arrive in May for RM229. Another addition is a more angular gaming mouse with a scroll wheel dubbed the M65 RGB elite . It’s somewhat customisable with tunable weights that can let you tweak it from 97g to 115g and has a revamped side button cluster as well as an 18,000 dpi sensor. This is available now for RM279. Another gaming mouse on show was the Ironclaw RGB that, awesome name aside, has been designed for a palm grip and also features an 18,000 dpi sensor and a rather light 105g carry weight.
