Ultra affordable Huawei Y7a phone coming this 30th October at a cheap RM799

The Huawei Y7a is an interesting offering as smartphones go as it blends a huge display with a humongous battery along with a rear quad camera for a downright low RM799 which is on the affordable end of the spectrum as phones go.

The Huawei Y7a has specifications atypical of what you’d expect in an entry level phone though. For the price of entry, you’re getting a 6.67-inch Full HD display clocking in at 2,400 x 1080 pixels resolution, a Kirin 710a octacore processor, 4GB RAM and a generous 128GB of storage; more so seeing what you’re paying for. Naturally, the phone eschews Google’s solutions for Huawei’s own EMUI firmware and relies on their own AppGallery for applications.

The rear consists of a quad camera array built around a 48MP F/1.8 primary camera, a secondary 8MP F/2.4 ultra wide angle lens camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera with the whole affair offering up to 1080P 60fps video capture. The front sports an 8MP F/2.0 selfie camera for video calls.

Where the Huawei Y7a impresses is its massive 5,000mAh battery for exceptional endurance complemented by the addition of 22.5W SuperCharge tech for fast top-ups. And yes, they provide a free charger and the cable to go with it too. If you’re not reliant of Google’s suite of services, this price point is tough to beat indeed.
