How much will the iPhone 7 cost in Southeast Asia?
If you have been pondering just where would the iPhone 7 be the cheapest to buy, notwithstanding other unorthodox solutions like requesting it as a gift from loved ones or a five-finger discount, online site iPrice recently did the footwork and compared seven countries in Southeast Asia to find out how much the stock iPhone 7 32GB variant cost.
On average, iPrice discovered that the iPhone 7 would be the cheapest in Singapore (USD749) and in Malaysia (USD900) though the cost is significantly higher in Indonesia (USD1,268) and Thailand (USD1,340).
Another interesting factoid they offered is that it would take the average Vietnamese 104 days of work in terms of personal income to afford an iPhone 7 while an Indonesian would require more than 87 days. Malaysians will need 24 days to save up enough dosh to buy one. Well, time to start saving then.
