Acer Swift 14 AI is their first Copilot Plus PC with Snapdragon X Elite processor

Acer has just announced the launch of the Acer Swift 14 AI, their first laptop using the Snapdragon X Elite processor and which has the Copilot Plus AI assistant running under the hood.

Unlike the Intel-based model released last year, the new Acer Swift AI and its equally new Snapdragon X Elite processor is able to speed up AI-related workloads and applications, with a compact yet potent setup that consists of 12-CPU cores on a 4nm node integrated with an Adreno GPU offering 3.8 TFLOPS and a Hexagon NPU able to offer up to 45 TOPS.

On top of the pixel crunching power, the new Snapdragon X Elite Processor also enables the Acer Swift 14 AI to have additional features including Recall to find anything on the PC be it apps or messages, Live Captions for easy captioning of live or pre-recorded video into English and more.

AI capabilities aside, the new Acer Swift 14 AI comes with a 14.5-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) display with a tall 16:10 aspect ratio which makes it more ideal for paperwork and web browsing as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. It gets the aforementioned Snapdragon X Elite processor though a Snapdragon X Plus processor option is available in selected markets.

The laptop also gets up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to a 1TB SSD and is powered by a 75Wh 3-cell lithium ion battery rated for up to 26 hours of video playback.

There’s no official Malaysia launch date nor confirmation that it will launch here for now but the Acer Swift 14 AI will launch in the United States this coming July from US$1,099 and in EMEA in June from EUR1,499.
