Uber is now giving free ‘ang pau’ rides

It’s the season for giving with the coming Year of the Rooster and Uber has just opened up a website where you can share free virtual ‘angpaus’ to friends and family. Each angpau entitles recipients to two free rides worth RM5.

All you have to do is to swing by the site, write in the e-mail of the recipient, a short message and a name and away you go. There’s no authentication so you can even send an angpau to yourself. In case you’re lost, you can just follow the animated GIF below. Swing by here and get started.
