Xiaomi has rolled out their latest budget phone dubbed the Redmi 15 5G that has an absolutely massive 7,000mAh Xiaomi Surge battery rated for up to 2 days of usage.

Large battery aside, the Redmi 15 5G has a large 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 850 nits peak brightness and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free, Circadian Friendly and Low Blue Light certification. Powering the phone is a modest Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with either 4GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. The rear hosts a single 50MP f/1.8 camera with the front hosting a single 8MP f/2.05 selfie camera.

The chassis itself has an IP64 splash and dust resistance rating and the display also has a Wet Touch Technology 2.0 feature that allows for reliable usage even with damp fingers. Of note is that the battery offers 33W wired charging and is capable of charging other devices too with 18W reverse wired charging.
